Week 72: Spinnen als Haustiere?


 A pretty good week out here.  I didn't have to lick any rocks so that was a bonus. I am however dying of heat tho so I don't know which one is worse. Be grateful for ac brothers and sisters. This week I am grateful for 5 guys because it is the only place we found that actually had ac so shoutout to America. Also, I decided being allergic to cats is a mindset and that I'm not allergic anymore. I also think I'm going to be immune to them by all the cat hair I eat here, there is only so many you can secretly pick off. I found out this week that my comp is deathly afraid of bugs. Also found out that our fun cat lady likes spiders in her house and to NOT kill them.. that may be worse than telling her you don't like cats which I may or may not have done. Hopefully, I played it off good by blaming it on my allergies because I got the meanest look and I thought for sure I was gonna get kicked out (which I admittedly don't think I'd be too mad about)... sorry those were all real random thoughts but now you know how my brain works haha. I'll try to get it together and actually make sense now.  

We went street-finding and it was blazing hot and we were both just not feeling it but we said a prayer and made a plan to reward ourselves with Reeses shakes and went for it. We got rejected a whole lot but we did get to talk to a lady and she was soooo nice and literally straight God-sent. She told us that she had just barely left her church and that she was searching for truth. She opened up a lot about what she has been going through and told us a lot of her questions. We just happened to be holding a book that had all the answers. We also last minute had grabbed a thing that had 21 questions of the soul and every question she had asked was on the paper we had with the reference of where to find the answer in the Book of Mormon. It was one of those moments where I literally knew God sent her straight to us. She was so grateful that we had picked her to give the book to and thanked us like 4 times. It was so happy and good and I just felt so much love. I am grateful that God always knows when I need a pick-me-up and that he provides. 


I want to thank you guys for your faith and prayers. I feel them! I know that faith brings miracles and that when we give what we can that God makes it enough. Through Him, we are enough!

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
