Week 70: peacin out

Image
This week contained a lot of goodbyes and a lot of food. I will be headed to Munich for my last transfer and will be training again and I'm very excited! Kinda wild that it will be the beginning of the end. I honestly can't wrap my head around it!  Looking back at my time here is very humbling. I have been shown so many situations where all I could do was simply be there. It has really shown me that this is the Lord's work and we are simply here to let him use us. Talking has always been something I love and probably do too much and it has just been amazing to take a step back and let the spirit go to work. God has a way of doing his work and I'm very grateful that he trusts me enough to help him with it! The people of Switzerland have a special place in my heart and I'm very grateful that God has let me love them. I needed to be here and see and learn the things I have and I am forever grateful. Week 69: drinkin w/ the Preacher

Hoi!! Hope ya'll had a fantastic week! As for me over here I'm dying of baby fever and allergies but other than that thriving.  At one of our member appointments this week my poor comp was just struggling to get her food down. We were at an African lady's house and she makes us this thing called modolo every time and my goodness it's probably the nastiest thing ever. But she loves when we eat it because it's from her home. Honestly probably not... but we walked out and my comp turned to me and said "that was the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me" tender moment haha.  We were going to visit one of our favorite families in the ward and on the way to their house we had some extra time so we decided to knock on some doors. We picked the prettiest old house and no...

Week 68: healing hearts and souls

It was a tough week but we ended it off by riding roller coasters at Europe park so that was a win! Despite me just feeling not great this week, we did have some cool miracles!! - got to visit the Ukrainian gal again and she told us, "you heal my heart and soul" my heart about melted. I love her. - We met with one of our friends from Africa and she was like are you hungry? It didn't matter if we would've said no she was gonna feed us. She pulled out two huge fish, cut them in half, seasoned them real good, and threw them in the fryer. The miracle of it was that me and my comp both got the bottom half. We were praying real hard to not get the head part because the eyes and everything just scared us hahaha. God is good.  - We went to a member appointment and they had a nonmember friend over and due to unfortunate circumstances they had to go to the hospital 2 times in a row... crazy but that meant that we got to spend a lot of time talking to this gal. She told us the...
