Sister Addison Hunt, Alpine German Speaking Mission

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.   Never a dull moment here in Mississippi…  We met the coolest lady this week. Her name is Miss Minnie and she loves to sing... like when I say love I mean I've heard her sing more than she talks and she never stops. It's so awesome. We got to be her backup singers one time too!! I'll attach a video so yall don't miss out. She asked us to come do some service for her and told us she had some overgrow that she wanted gone. We showed up and I didn't see any overgrowth, just a cute little house in the middle of the forest. Confused, we asked her what she wanted and she pointed to the forest… I really don't know how two of us can cut down a forest with little clippers haha, but we went to work and made a tiny dent. I have never enjoyed yard work and forest work is even worse.   Hello everybody:)) I hope Easter was amazing for y'all. I'm so grateful for our savior and his resurrection. It's so comforting to know that because he rose we can rise again too. We can rise from our shortcomings, our mistakes, our failures, our inadequacies… all because of him. I LOVE JESUS CHRIST. Conference was amazing. If you haven't watched it go watch it. I went in with three questions that I wanted guidance on and it was almost if my questions were the topic of three of the speakers. Amazing!! God is too good.  Crazy story time… so Sister Jaster and I have been going to this lake that we found and no one is ever there so we were thinking that it's closed but we found a way to hike in and it's not blocked off or anything so we've been going there a lot.   Hiiii!!!! I hope everyone had such a good week:))  On Tuesday we had crazy weather and a full day of lessons that got cancelled because of it.. sad. But I love the rain and it was coming down that day so of course I made Sister Jaster go and play in it with me. We definitely got soaked but it was way fun. Wednesday, it was also super rainy but we still went to our lessons. In one of them the rain was coming down so hard and the guy had a tin roof which made it super hard to hear each other and we had to like yell for them to hear us. I said a silent prayer for the rain to die down a little so we could hear each other and right as I said amen the rain slowly came to a stop. It was amazing and really showed me that God listens to my prayers. I love little reminders like that. We are teaching a guy named Mike, I mentioned him in my last email and he is the sweetest guy.
