Down to the last transfer! Not gonna lie it doesn't seem real yet so that's good haha. I'm not looking forward to the day when it actually hits me...

Munich 1 is an interesting place... let's just say I'm gonna have some good stories here. I think I had the weirdest member appointment of my mission yesterday.. we walked in and this apartment was just covered in cat hair... we all know my strong dislike for cats and IDK what God is trying to do to me but ya rough. My allergies just went off and I think I sneezed a total of like 80 times... we sat down for dinner and she looks at my companion and the other elder that have been here and asks them if they think we're ready for the ritual. My mind at this point was going everywhere thinking what the heck is she about to make me do. She goes on to pull out this salt crystal rock thing and explains to us that her cats love to lick this thing and that every new missionary also has to lick it to be initiated. I just about barfed as showed us how to do it (licking all the way around this thing) and then passed it to me. Looking back I don't know why I thought I literally HAD to do it but the deed was done and I really wish i could say that was the worst thing I had to do. We ate and I pulled like 8 cat hairs off my food which was fun and then she goes okay now you have to try my homemade kefir. According to Google: Kefir is a fermented milk drink... she poured me a sip full of that stuff and the missionaries told me just tip it back as fast as I could. I did and I think I've never gagged so fast or so hard. It was literally the worst thing I have ever tried. It was like drinking straight mold and I wanted to cry. I walked out just glad that God helped me survive that appointment. I think the worst part of it is that we meet with this lady every Monday... send prayers
Sorry if that was TMI but I just had to share. Now for some good stuff..
-On Thursday we stopped by a less actives. We got there, went to the address that was listed, and she was nowhere to be found. We said a prayer and after more searching, we decided it was time to head back. As we walked to the train station, we saw a hair salon near the address we had. For whatever reason (god) I had a thought to go see if by some random chance she worked there, and you'll never guess. She totally did! What are the odds? Literally crazy. We gave her coworkers the banana bread we had made and our number, and the next day, she texted us!
-At our Ausstellung this week, we saw so many miracles! We met one of our new friends, Yacobi there! He ran up from behind us and said "wait are you Mormons? Can I talk to you? " definitely NOT the response we usually get, in fact, quite the opposite haha. So cool! We also talked to another guy who had a really tough life. He told us that he was nobody and he had no one. We were able to share with him, that he was somebody. He was a child of God, and that God loves him and has a plan for him.
-Saturday night, my comp and I had just finished our prayers and then the phone started ringing. It was one of our friends and we didn't really want to answer because it was already past 10:30 but we had a feeling we should. We answered and she burst into tears, telling us she was really struggling and didn't have anyone to go to but felt like we would know how to help her. We were able to pray with her and calm her down and the spirit was so strong. I am grateful for promptings.
The Lord knows us ONE by ONE. He is our way to true happiness. When we follow him and use his atonement he will give us strength beyond our own. I feel it every day. There is no way I could be here doing this work alone but luckily I don't have to
. I have my Savior and I know that with him I can do anything. Turn to him, let him help you! He loves you, is proud of you, and knows you personally.
Ich hab euch lieb! Schöne Woche noch;))
