Week 65: mom life

Heyyy guys the week was long but also good! My greenie is so cute and it's been so fun seeing her experience everything for the first time. It's brought back so many memories of when I was first a missionary.  Not understanding much and getting really good at acting like I knew what was going on. I'm really glad we're past that haha. 

Our first lesson together was amazing. We met with a guy I had found on the street a few weeks ago and were able to teach him about God and how to pray and just super basic things. I had an experience like this one in my last area with the cute Chinese girl and it was like deja vu except this time with a cute little Chinese guy. We were able to help him say his first prayer and it was so simple but so powerful. We were sitting on a bench in the center city so it was not quiet at all but as soon as he started praying it somehow got super quiet. He told God it was his first time talking to him and that he would love to know if he was there and how he needs guidance because he doesn't know anyone and doesn't feel like he has a purpose and it was just straight from the heart and the most precious thing I've heard. He ended his prayer and looked up at us and we all felt it. The holy ghost swarmed us with pure love from our Heavenly Father and we all knew he was there. He is there. I know it with my whole heart. 

When you feel alone, on your good days and your bad days, when you mess up, when you feel you don't deserve it. He is there and he will comfort you. I am grateful for a loving God that is always constant.

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. We were at a members house and the last time we were there she gave us some coupons and so I was telling her that we used them to buy some things but instead of saying bought (gekauft) I said getauft which means baptized hahaha guess that's just what's on my mind… anyways kinda funny thought I'd share. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
