Week 62: die kleinen Dinge:))

Hey guys! I hope your week was amazing! My week was pretty good, I had a few moments and impulsively dyed my hair so that's fun haha. I also learned that the word Tramp in German is trampolin not landstreicher which is also Tramp but not the one I meant… my mistake I should've written out Trampoline in Google translate. You live and learn.

We saw so many miracles this week and it was awesome! Here's just a few:

  • We had a crazy busy day on Friday but we had a feeling to stop by this cute little member's house to bring her her favorite treat. We went and she was so happy to see us and invited us right in. As we got talking she told us that 32 years ago on that day her husband had passed away and that she was feeling down and then we knocked on her door! Tell me God isn't in the details.

  • Do you know what language Urdu is! I didn't but on Saturday we did some street finding and as we were filling my comps backpack full of books she grabbed that one last second. Sure enough, the first person she talked to spoke Urdu and took the book!! Sooo cool and then later that day I talked to someone who also spoke Urdu!! Crazy that a language I had never even heard of presented itself to us 2 times!

  • I had a tausch and Sister jäkkö (not my comp hahaha it's actually her cousin. kinda fun) showed me one of my new fav things to eat. It's literally like cold oatmeal hahaha oats, any fruit you want, cinnamon, and then milk on top, and idk why but it slaps.

  • My comp was in the worst mood ever and I didn't know what to do so we went and got Starbucks and I did her hair and that helped which was a major win.

  • At church, on Sunday a friend came that only speaks French and can understand Spanish. It was testimony meeting and the first 2 testimonies were from members of a family in our ward that only speaks french!!! And then another lady got up and said hers in Spanish! Didn't even plan that but God really did just come through once again.

  • I had one of the coolest experiences on the street with the cutest girl. I went up to her and we started talking and she asked why I was here and all that good stuff and I told her that I was here sharing this book and had a das Buch Mormon in my hands and she was like okay I'm ready tell me all about it! How cool!! I was able to give my testimony and the spirit was sooo strong and at the end, she was like how can I get one of those! I told her she could have the one I had and she was so grateful and excited to read it!! I walked away with the happiest tears of joy because God literally just showed me and let me express how much joy Jesus Christ can bring us.

The gospel is a gospel of joy and the greatest thing is being able to share it. I'm grateful for miracles big and small. It shows me that God really does care and helps me every day. Remember to work on the challenge that President Nelson gave us last week and also be happy!! Love you all:))
