Week 58: 3 for 3 baby

 Herzlich willkommen meine lieben!




Fun lil memory of the week: We went on a walk with a friend and as we were walking these two young guys stopped us and looked at us and were like are you guys from France? Italy? Where's your accent from? I told them we were from America and they immediately burst into song! They started singing you don't know your beautiful from one direction and started singing right to us. It was quite the experience. They then asked if we knew High school musical (only my fav show ever…) and started singing breaking free and I was just having the best time singing along. Nothing like taking a pause from a lesson to get serenaded on the street

Speaking of the street… We went street-finding yesterday and God really just put the most perfect people in our path! We only had 1 hour to find and we only stopped 3 people but we also had 3 amazing conversations and got all 3 of their numbers!! Woot woot!!!

On top of that God led us in an amazing lesson with one of our friends!! In comp study Sis Marriott and I both felt super strongly to talk about forgiveness with him and as we talked this grown man's eyes filled with tears. The spirit was there and we were able to testify of God's love for him and it was amazing. Experiences like that I'll never forget.

A lot of the people we talk to have been so hopeless with everything that's going on in the world right now. I have been studying what I can share to help these people find peace and I came across this quote by President Hinckley that I loved. 
"This life is but a chapter in the eternal plan of our Father. It is full of conflict and seeming incongruities. Some die young. Some live to old age. We cannot explain it. But we accept it with the certain knowledge that through the atoning sacrifice of our Lord we shall all go on living, and this with the comforting assurance of His immeasurable love."

I am grateful that I don't have to fear because I know that everything is made right through the atonement of Jesus Christ. He can make any heart-whole and give peace even when it seems impossible to find. He has said, “Learn of me, and listen to my words; walk in the meekness of my Spirit, and you shall have peace in me” 
Seek this peace he has for you. It is there and it is amazing.<3

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. We were at a members house and the last time we were there she gave us some coupons and so I was telling her that we used them to buy some things but instead of saying bought (gekauft) I said getauft which means baptized hahaha guess that's just what's on my mind… anyways kinda funny thought I'd share. We got to get together with our whole mission for a mission conference and it was sooo fun. I am exhausted tho and think I might need a week to recover haha. It started out with a 7-hour train ride straight into street finding. Picture this… 136 missionaries hit the streets in one of the biggest cities in Germany and give out 200+ books of Mormon. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
