Week 56: crazy awesome cat lady


 What's good everyone!


We got to visit the lady that I talked about in my last email again this week! (let's just call her cat lady) she told us she is already in 1 Nephi 10! What a legend. She also told us that's she loves reading but none of her other books have been interesting to her but how she literally couldn't lay the Book of Mormon down! We had an amazing restoration lesson with her and I just love testifying about the Book of Mormon. It truly is a true record and one that changes lives. 

This week in studies I really focused on God's love. I notice that I feel his love by the little things. Catching a train, being in nature, finding an answer in my studies, remembering a German word, when the sun's out, getting small texts throughout the week, etc. There are so many little things that bring me joy and I know it's because God gives me those feelings of joy. He cares so much about every little thing and that includes me and you and what makes us happy! 



Something that was so happy about this week was that we got to go to the temple! Man, I love that place. The peace and love and joy I feel there is just another reminder that this is the Lord's church. Something that I heard this week is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is our edge in life. And it is so true I am so grateful to have it and feel and experience all the blessings we receive from living it. Keep trying, keep doing, that's all he asks.

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. We were at a members house and the last time we were there she gave us some coupons and so I was telling her that we used them to buy some things but instead of saying bought (gekauft) I said getauft which means baptized hahaha guess that's just what's on my mind… anyways kinda funny thought I'd share. We got to get together with our whole mission for a mission conference and it was sooo fun. I am exhausted tho and think I might need a week to recover haha. It started out with a 7-hour train ride straight into street finding. Picture this… 136 missionaries hit the streets in one of the biggest cities in Germany and give out 200+ books of Mormon. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
