Week 51: moving...

Well, the week was good and then this morning President decided to throw us a curveball and sent us scrambling. So you know how we've been covering two areas well we got the news last night that we are receiving 12 missionaries from the Ukraine mission and so now we have enough to not double cover. So we will just be in Heilbronn now which comes with a crusty old apartment wahoo. So basically today and tomorrow we are packing up and moving to the apartment there.

If you remember my first week here in this area i was struggling a bit because all the members in Heilbronn are old, single, and sad…it's a sad truth. I was able to feel better when we went to our other ward filled with families and young people that embraced us so well and made me feel better. Anyways looks like God gave me that for a little to get adjusted and now he thinks I'm ready to just be with old people. It'll be good. I'm ready to love these old ladies but honestly, I'm kinda bummed. God's got a plan though and I trust him. He always pulls through.

Now for the miracle of the week! Your girl is a bit clumsy and I lost the area phone.. I realized I didn't have it right as we were getting on the train to go home so we quickly got off. We had been all over the place and I couldn't remember the last time I had it. We called the member we were with and she searched her car but had no luck. By this time it was about 9 and we had to get home so we got on the next train and decided to retrace our tracks in the morning. The next day we got up, prayed real hard, and headed to Heilbronn. We started at the first place that came to my head and we found it immediately!! I thought there was no way but God is good. It was indeed destroyed and looked like it had been running over a couple times but besides the point… we found it! Crazy that we found it and another miracle that the Sim wasn't broken because the holder of the Sim card was also destroyed. We put it in another phone and still have almost everything. Thank goodness. Literal miracle. Also, I am no longer in charge of the phone.
We got to watch the Europe-wide Devotional this week and it was so amazing. One of the things that was said that I loved was something to the point of, there is no spiritual power in living in convenience. I'm really bad at being okay with that sometimes. I like being in my comfort zone. I have noticed though, that the times I grow most are when I'm out doing something that is challenging. As a missionary, I get to do those types of things every day. Not gonna lie it's hard to just go talk to people and get rejected again and again but it's a lot easier with the lord is on my side. Kinda silly but a lot of times when I don't have enough courage to go talk to someone I have a saying that plays in my mind and it's, "I will go
if you'll go with me". Every time it helps and I know it's because God is on my team and that's all I need.

Psalms 118:6
Y'all are the best and I miss you tons! Make sure to look up this week;))
