Week 50: I might have poisoned a child...
Pretty good week out here in Germany. First, Saturday felt like Christmas because I got to see some of my mission besties! And two we got new mattresses and a 2nd mirror wahoo!!
We got to have a fun little adventure this week. We were led to an address where we couldn't find the right apartment for who we were looking for. There was a girl outside tho and so we asked her and she was like yeah I don't know where that person lives. We then asked another girl and she also didn't know. We were already there though and God set us up so perfectly to teach these girls. I asked them if they had ever heard of the Book of Mormon and they hadn't and I was ready to preach but then one of them was like wait what's the last name to this girl and we told her and she was like oh that's my sister.. she didn't think it was her because she's only 16 but it was! She asked if we'd like to come in and there was the cutest little brown boy running around. He was really wild and took one of my hand warmers and straight up took a bite of it! I was in shock and didn't know what to do and no one seemed to care.. so hopefully, he's okay!! He also took the present I had in my hand for a member and took one of the chocolate things and just went at it. It was so funny. Despite all that crazy going on, we were able to explain the Book of Mormon to this girl and she absolutely loved it! The 16-year old that had ordered the book got home and we also explained a little to her. They told us they both got baptized last week and they were so cute and excited about it. They also told us they would love to learn more about the Book of Mormon and invited us to come back so I'm way stoked for that!
Not much else to share about the week but I just read this and it's too good not to share.
Matthew 14:30-31
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
I just absolutely love these scriptures. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ.
I know that even at our lowest moments he is there and will catch us and pull us right back up. He's just the best.

Have the bestest week ever!
