Week 38: audi and tesla

 Hey guys! Another crazy busy week here in Wien! I feel like I'm always just writing weekly's looking back and not knowing where the week went! Wild!

So everyone here gives you slippers when you visit them so your feet don't get cold. Kinda nice not gonna lie. This week at an appointment I was walking out the door and the family just started laughing at me and I had no idea why. I thought maybe I didn't understand a German joke or something and my head was thinking of all the possibilities. They pointed at my feet and I was still wearing the slippers hahaha just forgot my shoes all together whoops! 

On the train yesterday we sat across from this guy and asked him how he was and he actually responded (sometimes people will just look at us and it's real awkward…) on top of that he responded in English! We started talking to him and when he asked us our first names we told him Addi and Tessa and he was so surprised and we got confused and then found out that he thought we said Audi and Tesla and ya it was so funny. Pretty cool nicknames tho right? We were also able to exchange numbers and hopefully can meet up with him! 

We had the coolest lesson ever last night!!! We've been meeting with this lady for about a month now and yesterday we read 3 Nephi 11 with her. All I gotta say is the Book of Mormon is the best book in the entire world and has soooo much power. As we were reading the spirit was just so strong. In the middle, she paused and started asking us how she can start preparing for baptism!! We had planned to put her on date but she literally put herself on date! Her faith is insane and she is so excited and so ready! It's been so cool to see her grow and see firsthand that the gospel can change lives. 

Something that's so cool is that we all have the gospel or CAN have it. We can let it change us and not only that but we can have more peace, more comfort, more love, and more joy. I have seen and felt the joy that this gospel brings and am so grateful for it in my life. God is seriously so good.

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. We were at a members house and the last time we were there she gave us some coupons and so I was telling her that we used them to buy some things but instead of saying bought (gekauft) I said getauft which means baptized hahaha guess that's just what's on my mind… anyways kinda funny thought I'd share. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
