Week 37: don't let us cut your hair...

 Hey guys! Welcome back to another amazing week here in Vienna! I hope you all had the greatest week and were able to feel God's love because he loves you!! 

For my fun little adventure this week I pretty much just made a fool of myself... So we were street-finding and I went up to this group of like 3 and asked them if I could ask a question and right as I finished that sentence a huge bug flew right into my eye! I have no idea what they responded because I was just a bit distracted and so I just awkwardly pointed at my eye and ran off to get some help. It definitely wasn't my most gracious moment and I'm sure I gave them a good laugh. Luckily my eye is okay but my confidence.. not so much.

Also, we got asked to cut this cute little lady's hair and ya I don't know why she asked us but we did it and it was a mistake… I cut one of the sides and I did pretty good not gonna lie but then my comp did the other side and cut it sooooo short!! We had to even it out and it was just bad… I feel terrible but the lady said she really liked it so that's all that matters right? I still don't know if she was just being nice but she genuinely seemed like she liked it sooooo ya there's that...

This whole week was seriously just packed with miracles and wow I just know that this is God's work. He literally is in all the details. Here are a few amazing things that happened this week: 

  • We had an appointment with one of our investigators and invited a member to come with us and basically, our phone died and we didn't know the directions, but we said a prayer, and not only did we figure it all out, but the lesson went AMAZING!

  • We got a referral this week to drop off a BOM and we went by (they're not all legit) and the girl who requested it is so cool! She's already done a little research on our church and she wants to learn more!

  • We had a kinda spontaneous appointment with this guy we never met before (who reached out to us) and we were a little skeptical, but it went so well, and he wants to come to church and meet again! Also, right after meeting with him, we had another appointment and we weren't sure if we'd have enough time to get to it because it was 17:47 and our next one was at 18:00. So we hurry and look up the address of our next appointment and legit IT'S A 13 MINUTE WALK AWAY. I'm literally serving in the biggest city in the mission--that's not a coincidence.

  • We were talking to a lady in a tram on our way home one night and she started telling us about how she had gotten divorced and didn't want to marry again unless it would be preserved by God even after she died. We were like 😮. We taught her several parts of the plan of salvation in that tram and we missed our stop by like 6 stops just teaching away.  Hopefully, she will reach out, but even if she doesn't, she now knows that there is a church on the earth where families can be sealed forever!! 

Sorry to go off but God is seriously just too good! I love being able to see the miracles he works every day. I love this work and I love you guys! Have the greatest week ever!

1. My angel mom on her bday!! My mom is seriously my best friend in the whole world and if you know her you are soooo lucky because she is the absolute best.

2. We got a little sad because I wasn't there and so dal went into my room and put on my soccer uniform and a wig with a turtle on top pretending to be me hahaha soooo funny.

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
