Week 36: little wins

 Guten tag! Haha well guten nacht for me! Hope yalls week was amazing!!

We had an Ausstellung on Saturday and it was awesome! I went with another sister and we taught 10 lessons in about 45 minutes!! I usually can't even get 10 people to even talk to me so that was amazing!! One of them was an experience tho… so we stopped this guy and at first, he didn't stop but then did a double-take at us and then stopped. He then asked for our number and said he didn't have a lot of time but would love to talk! We gave him our card and then he goes on to say that he is a Satanist and that Jesus is evil and I just wasn't having any of that and hit him with my testimony. He actually listened and then said he'd call us. We got a text from him yesterday that said I was totally his type and that he would love to take me out to tea and would love to listen to what I have to say and that maybe I could convert him… or that he could convert me with a winky face… I think I'll pass but also I think I should count it as a win because one I got to bear my testimony and 2 he wasn't over 50! Gotta love little wins!

Another little win this week is on a train we started talking with this lady and usually, people can tell right away that we are from the states because of our accents but she told me she thought I was from Czech! I mean it's not Germany but it wasn't the US and I literally was so flattered! She said it was partly because of my eyes but hey I was talking so that means she had to of thought it was my accent to right? Wahooooo!

One thing I know that I saw so apparent this week is that God provides. We had so many things this week that just went so well. Whether it was being able to have spontaneous appointments, or catching a train, or being able to have conversations with random people and having the chance to bear our testimonies, or just having a pick me up after a hard day. He is so mindful of what each and every one of us needs and he always provides. Being on my mission has shown me how much I rely on God for literally everything and man am I grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who is always just there to scoop me up and give me comfort and love and courage to keep going every day. I know without a doubt that he is the only reason I am still out here being able to serve. He can help us through anything and everything as we turn to him. So make it easy on yourself and turn to him! He is there and ready to help you!

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. We were at a members house and the last time we were there she gave us some coupons and so I was telling her that we used them to buy some things but instead of saying bought (gekauft) I said getauft which means baptized hahaha guess that's just what's on my mind… anyways kinda funny thought I'd share. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
