Week 34: the Vienna virus

 Guten tag! This week was a lil crazy. I basically traveled all over Austria. Not really but I did spend a lot of time on trains. Not complaining tho because the train rides here are beautiful!! My comp had MLC so we had to travel to Salzburg to switch companions and then we came back to Wien and the next day we went to Graz and then the next day back to Wien so ya kinda fun! Also literally EVERYONE in Vienna Zone besides me and one other elder got sick from each other… We had to get tested for covid and let's just say I don't love my brain getting poked.. that hurt! We sadly had to cancel lots of appointments... so, this week was a little slow but we made the most of it!


We had a lesson with a guy we're teaching and it was great! We talked a lot about how going through hard things helps us to grow and it was a good reminder for me. I love lessons where I end up being the one getting taught haha. We did our lesson at a palace here in Wien and on the way back he kept telling us he had to go to the bathroom and we were just like okay hahaha didn't really know what to say and then as we got closer and closer he kept ripping farts and then looking at us and saying, "I just blew some air" it was weird how polite he was about it and I just wanted to die laughing. When we got to the train station that man took off and it was so funny as he ran off every step was an "air blow" and we just died laughing. Really glad he made it! Blessings!


Not much else to report on except conference is this weekend!!! I am so excited and I'll tell you why. We have a modern-day prophet who is called by God and he speaks directly from him!! That means we literally get direction from Heavenly Father! How cool is that? Just wanted to invite you guys to think of something you have been struggling with and then go into conference having faith that you will receive an answer. I promise that as you seek and then listen you will receive an answer. God is mindful of YOU and wants to help you with whatever it may be. Y'all are amazing and I love you lots and lots!

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
