Week 33: my mission dream came true!!
The new sentence I, unfortunately, had to learn this week is, "Ich brauche keinen Sugar Daddy" ya… not so fun. Let's just say there are too many creepy old men here and I'm not a fan. Other than that my week was great!! We had some amazing lessons, met some new people, had lots of laughs, and had the best Sunday ever!!
My comp is probably one of the most injury-prone people I have ever met. I don't get it.. hahaha I swear she finds a way to hurt herself with everything we do. This week we went on a morning run to this fun little park behind our church. We decided to go on the swings that are there and they were a little wet but I didn't think much about it. We made our way up the tires and both went at the same time. All of a sudden I heard 3 loud thumps and turned and saw sister bass like dying on the ground. She was making an uhhhhh sound (like the sound you make when you get the air knocked out of you). These are like big boy swings so I was super worried because she was just laying there making that sound. I couldn't stop my swing though so I was just kinda asking if she was okay and trying to get off to help her. Once I found out she wasn't too badly hurt I couldn't stop laughing. Poor girl had like a huge tire burn all over her back. It looked sooo painful!! I felt so bad but also can't help but laugh every time I think about it.
We had so many lessons in German this week and I think my brain is fried. We saw so many miracles though and it was definitely worth the headache. One of the lessons we had was with a new friend and it was such a cool experience. She opened up right away and told us some things she was struggling with. We felt like we should share some certain verses out of the Book of Mormon and the spirit just took off! It was so cool to see how a foreign book to her answered her questions and that we were led to share the exact thing she needed to hear. I am so grateful for the guidance we receive from the Holy Ghost and for the book of Mormon
.
Okay okay now for my most favoritest day ever!! The cute family that we have been working with were baptized on Sunday! It was the 4 kids and it was literally perfect. So many people were there to support, and we got to talk to their dad and family members, who aren't members of the church! There was such a beautiful feeling the whole time and oh man it was just the best thing ever. It has been a long time coming, and I feel so grateful that I was able to be a part of their big day!

I am so grateful to be a missionary and to see how the gospel can change lives. It has definitely changed and continues to change mine. You guys are all amazing and I love you bunches! Have such a great week and focus on the good! There is so much to be grateful for.
