Week 32: I got kissed...

We miss America!
Hey guys welcome back to the weekly! Had an interesting week for sure... Full of laughs, memories, and miracles though so I'm a happy girl.

First off laughs and mems:

  • We got to go way out of the city (in a car!! I miss driving so riding in one was a bonus!!) to help with a service project and it was so fun! We just stacked wood which doesn't sound fun haha but it was. I don't know why but I find joy in things like that now which is surprising but hey I'll take it. One of the pieces of wood rolled off the wheelbarrow and landed straight on my big toe and it blew up real big and turned blue so that's kinda fun.

  • We got to go to a pioneer night with a bunch of little kids and it was the best thing ever! My comp had a long skirt on that day and one of the german elders (they are very honest) walked up and said, "I like your costume, you look like a ballerina!" I started dying laughing because she wasn't dressed up, it was just the skirt she wore that day. And then he was confused and was like, "do you actually wear that out?" and it was soooo funny. He then realized it wasn't a costume and tried to make it better but let's just say I don't think she'll wear that skirt ever again.

    Pioneer Night

  • And ya I got kissed! On the cheek luckily because I swerved real fast but it was a close one! So it was an appointment with our investigator and we had baked some cookies for people, so we brought him some and I guess to say thank you he just went for it. I was taken so off guard and barely turned in enough time thank goodness but ya kinda funny.

Now for the miracles!

  • Our key got stuck in the keyhole and we tried getting it out for like 10 minutes and idk if I'm just super weak or something but man that guy wouldn't budge. I was getting super annoyed and impatient. Then this guy walked by so I asked him to see if he could get it out and right as I asked him it came out. He just kinda laughed at us but then started asking what our tags were and where we were from and all that! We got his number and have an appointment with him this week! I think God just really needed us to meet him that day so we'll see where it goes!

  • We had a fire lesson with one of our members and an investigator! The spirit was so strong and at the end, she told us she is so excited to be a member of our church. Sadly she lives in Canada or we definitely would've put her on date but I'm just glad I get to be a part of her journey in making this step. She is amazing and I'm so happy for her!

  • Traffic jam
Today on the street this lady asked us for a pen and then asked me to write her number on a piece of paper for a lady she was next to. I happily helped and had to use a lot of brainpower because I kept getting two and three mixed up because zwei and drei are so close and when I'm counting it's not a big deal but when I'm not I get confused hahaha embarrassing. I promise I can count it's just a little more of a struggle in German.. anyways when I finished she was like, "do you want my number to?" Like what?! Of course, we do! She was so open and nice and we're excited to meet with her!

God is so good and I'm so grateful for little and big miracles that I get to see every day!

Crazy Night

There's been something on my mind for a while now and I have been searching for an answer for a long time. This week I came across something that literally said what I was feeling word for word and I was able to find my answer. It was the most amazing experience and one that was long needed. It took me like a year to get an answer but God is always right on time. I am so grateful that he is mindful of me and that I was finally ready to receive an answer. I encourage you guys to keep asking and searching and seeking and praying. I promise you will receive an answer and it will be so worth it. Be faithful, don't give up, God is there and will provide.

Johanna made us dinner.

Love you all ×3000. Make it a great week! ;))
