Week 27: coolest week ever

The prettiest hike

Guten tag! Another great week here in Vienna! I feel like all the days and weeks blend together and I struggle with remembering what I did for the day so writing for the week is a challenge... So sorry I'm always so scatterbrained.

This week was super busy! We had two exchanges so that was a bit hectic but super fun. We got to watch the best 2 years and oh man I don't think I've ever related more to a movie. I don't know if it was the funniest movie ever or if I just have been on the mission too long and I'm at the point where everything is funny. But either way I was dying laughing. Highly recommend.

How I met your mother?

Yesterday was such a good day. We have been working with a part member family in our ward and have been doing come follow me lessons with them every week. They are the cutest little family. There is twin girls that are 9, a 14 year old boy, and a 15 year old girl. All the girls have been planning to get baptized on September 19th which is seriously so cool and we are so excited! The boy hasn't really been participating in the calls and we don't really have a great relationship with him but this week he went on a temple trip with all the youth and had such a good experience. He was on the call yesterday and told us he also wants to be baptized with the rest of his siblings!! The mom asked us to do a quiz with all of the lessons so we literally were able to teach all of the lessons and it was such a cool experience. They all bore their testimonies at the end and they were the most pure, simple testimonies and the spirit was so strong. They all are so excited and just seeing the mom feel so proud of her kids was so cool. Seeing the change the gospel has brought to their family has been such a blessing and I am so grateful I have gotten to be apart of their journey. The gospel seriously brings so much joy.

Prettiest little sunset

One of the little girls testimony really just hit me and it was so simple. She just said how she can't fall sleep until she says her prayers and that's how she knows that God is there. I loved that. That's all she needed to know that God loves her and that he is there. A lot of times God works in little ways and we have little experiences that remind us that he is there. This week I want to challenge you guys to look for the little things that remind you that God is there and is mindful of YOU. He knows you, he knows what you need, and he is there for you.

Alma 37:6

Love you guys lots! Thanks for all the prayers and support! I have the best friends and family and am so grateful for all of you!! Have the greatest week ever:))
