Week 24: the hills are alive

Hey guys! I hope you guys had such a great week! I honestly feel like I'm constantly writing these things so hopefully, you don't get too bored of them haha. 


Way cool experience this week! We had a call with one of the ladies in our ward and she told us that people would come to us and want to know about our church. I kinda laughed because the people here go as far away as they can from us it seems. Anyways on the train that day a guy came and sat right across from us and we said hello and he started talking to us and asking what we believed in!! We got to tell him and then he said he would love to know more. That seriously never happens. We had a super cool lesson with him on Saturday and guys… you'll never guess what happened! I actually understood what was going on and was a part of the lesson! That was the first time I walked out of a lesson and actually felt like I knew what he was saying and could answer!! Highlight for sure. I seriously don't know how I understood. But such a tender mercy that God was able to help me and give me a glimpse of hope with my German. Wahoooo!!

During personal study this week I was reading in Alma and about the sons of Mosiah and all they went through to share the gospel. It's amazing to me how much faith they had and how much they relied on the Lord. The lord truly was their guide. I know that I couldn't do anything out here without him. He truly is my guide and I'm grateful for all the comfort he has given me. Love you guys so much!! Make it a great week!

  Servus! I hope you all had an amazing week:)) I had a wild one and it was awesome!! Also, this one's kinda long so sorry bout it.  I had a funny German whoops this week. I have them at least 5 times a day but this one made me laugh. Week 39: tracting! And ET?

  Being on a mission is a roller coaster let me tell ya… some days are just the best and others ya not so much but hard things make us stronger if we let them and that is something I am grateful for.  So I basically got told yesterday that I am being ET'd in a week!!! I am so sad about it! I was almost positive I was gonna be transferred but I was expecting to at least finish out the transfer. Anyways I've basically been living here in Austria illegally for about 3 months.. I don't have any visa and they're basically gonna have to sneak me over the border so that's kinda scary… don't know what's gonna happen because I also don't have a German visa and ya it's just a big mess. Pray, I don't get deported! On Thursday we finally had a free afternoon with no appointments, so we decided to stop by some less active members. Week 11: Life is Good

  Hey y'all!! We had zone conference this week and oh man it was too good. We talked a lot about giving it our all out here on the mission. We only get this experience once and so we need to give it 100%. I loved hearing all of the missionaries talk about their experiences and it made me remotivated to keep working hard and doing my best every day! We also had exchanges this week which was super fun! I got to go to Madison Mississippi for a day! They actually have stores and restaurants and stuff… very different than our small town here in Mendenhall.  Kinda a silly story for y'all… we were walking to a member's house and this boy was walking right behind us and slowly caught up to us and so we said hi and he had a very thick accent so we didn't really know what he was saying.
