Week 22: die beste antwort

Welcome back to the weekly! We had a crazy week with so many miracles and blessings!

Aight story time!! Every week we have a meal appointment with this cute little old couple and this week they surprised us with some matching pants. Super sweet of them. They wanted us to try them on right then. We wore them all through the appointment and then didn't want to be rude and change so we wore them all the way back to our apartment… it was sooo funny. We were wearing shirts that clashed pretty bad with them and on top of that we had our dress shoes on... let's just say our pants turned more heads than our name tags usually do. And that's a lot haha I'll make
sure to send the photo so yall don't miss out.

We had zone conference this week! And guess what your girl had to do! My favoritest thing ever!! I had to give a talk… Yes, another one! That's two weeks in a row! I thought since I gave one last week I would be safe for at least a little but nope! I can't decide which was worse.. giving a talk in German to a bunch of Austrian people I don't know or giving a talk in English to a room full of missionaries. Both were definitely out of my comfort zone and I am very glad they are over! Zone conference was amazing though and the spirit was so strong. There were so many answers to questions I've been struggling with.

These last couple of weeks I have had a hard time feeling like I have been making a difference here. It's been quite the adjustment with everything especially the missionary work. In Mississippi, everyone loved Jesus and talking about Jesus and I feel like we had so many friends to teach and here it's just very different. On Wednesday I said a very specific prayer that I could feel that I had helped someone come closer to god. We went through the day and our very last lesson we had was with a new convert named Mitra. Mitra is an angel. Like seriously the sweetest person I've ever met. We read in the Book of Mormon and at the end, I was able to bear my testimony. Right as we said amen she looked at us and said, "thank you guys, you helped me feel closer to god today." I kid you not it was the same wording and everything. God answered my prayer and it was such a tender mercy that I needed.

I'm super grateful for answered prayers and for tender mercies. God knows us perfectly and knows exactly what we need. One of my favoritest things I heard this week is, "there is no rest like serving the Lord
." I'm grateful to be a part of his work.

Make it a great week! Love you guys so much!
