Week 17: Germany!!

This week was a wild one! I woke up Friday morning to an email with my flight itinerary to Germany!!! The best way to wake up for sure! I leave this Thursday!! I am actually getting to go to Croatia first to quarantine and then off to my mission! So I'll keep yall updated on how that goes! Crazy to think that next week I will be in a whole different country!!

We had zone conference this week and it was amazing! We talked a lot about how to teach with the spirit and be bold. I loved being able to hear from our leaders and other missionaries. Being in a room full of missionaries has so much power! It is so cool and I am so grateful that I get to be a part of it. After zone conference, we got to go bowling with all of us and it was a blast. The first
game I kicked everyone's trash and 2nd game I bowled a solid 56… don't know how that happened haha.

To top off such an amazing week we had Ashley's Baptism on Saturday. Seriously such a happy day! It has been a long time coming for her and I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of her journey. Seeing someone you have grown to love so much take such a big step in their life has got to be one of the greatest things in the world.

Yesterday was a sad day… my last time in our Mendenhall branch. I got to bear my testimony and it was a lot harder than I thought. The saddest thing was looking at the members I have come so close to and seeing so many tears I could barely contain mine. I have grown to love these people so much and I am so sad to go. I have felt so much love here and am forever grateful for the people I have gotten to know. Crazy how God knows exactly what we need. I know I needed to be here and to meet the people I have. I wouldn't trade my experiences here for the world. I am so grateful for a loving heavenly father and for his plan for me.
