Week 15: Germany??

Heyyyy hope y'all are doing so good!! Good things going on down here in the Sip.

First off… get ready… My girl Ashley is getting baptized on the 29th!! A long time coming but she is so ready. I've mentioned her before in previous emails but a quick recap. She's the best and has such a strong testimony. She has been meeting with the missionaries for a long time and the missionary
that was here right before me kinda didn't mesh so well with Ashley so they stopped meeting but since I've been here we have been able to get to work and it has been amazing! I feel like Ashley is another reason that I was supposed to be here in Mississippi! God is sooo good and I am beyond excited for Ashley!

Second… I have a story for y'all. We have been doing phone lessons with a guy named Yves (pronounced eve) and we introduced the book of Mormon. He said he would love one so we went and dropped one-off. That was an experience. Let me tell ya hahaha he is a goofy guy. Let me set the scene. When we pull up we see him sweeping off his front porch and he's got a pretty big pot belly and is wearing a very tight white t-shirt and even tighter gym shorts that are cinched up real high and glasses that look like goggles. So funny. We got to know him a little bit and gave him his book of Mormon and introduced it and told him we could come back over and study with him sometime and he was like no way!  We were a little shook thinking that maybe he didn't like us or something but he then said that he would hate for us to have to drive clear from Utah again just to study with him. Haha, he thought we drove all the way from Utah to give him the book… kinda silly but I've actually had that happen a couple of times! Anyways why I wanted to share this because he is so awesome! He texts us every day and tells us where he's at in the book and what he likes! Literally so cool!!

Third… ahhh… I got a call from my mission president yesterday and he said that he had a call with some authorities from Salt Lake and that my name came up! He was calling to make sure I was ready to go to Germany and told me it could be 3 weeks, a month,3 months, and made sure I was vaccinated. Sooo,
that's not like huge news because I've already been planning on it being anytime but my MTC district has been messaging and 5 of them have been told by their mission presidents that they are leaving for Germany on

June 3rd… crazy!!! So maybe I'll be in that group but who knows I was just excited to hear news about missionaries going!

Anyways thanks for all the prayers. I know that God answers them and I am so grateful for that. I want to challenge all of you to try to make your prayers more meaningful this week!

Matthew 7:7-8

Love y'all soooo much!
